New Irish Arts expands director’s role

The Board of New Irish Arts has announced a new expanded role for their Artistic Director, Jonathan Rea, who was ‘in charge’ of Songs of Praise from Bangor on Sunday past.

The Board states: With effect from September, Jonathan Rea will become our Creative Chief Executive, working on a 4-day week across all facets of New Irish Arts.  Our ministry and membership have both been steadily growing, and we have sensed God calling us to look at an even wider range of possibilities for serving His kingdom.
A wider range of recordings
•    Work in schools, prison and socially deprived areas
•    Music arrangements for use in the wider church
•    Music training for churches
•    Building our work in Dublin and the rest of Ireland

‘We believe that Jonathan’s increased involvement will help us respond to this call, and that the time is right to move forward.’
