The Down and Dromore Youth Team is heading to Albany Diocese for two weeks and a few days, setting off tomorrow Friday 8th!
There are 17 on the team ranging from 16 . . . to really old – 19 or 22!
They are going to be working alongside the summer camp staff at BeaverCross.
“It is a really exciting time for us as we head out and experience an American Christian children’s camp in all its fullness,” says team leader, Julie Currie. “The first week is a camp with children who would be in our Key stage 2 and the second are children who would be in our equivalent key stage 3.
“We have met together over the past six months and hope we are ready to meet the challenges . . .”
