Concert @ TCD Chapel to feature double premiere
THE Mornington Singers will stage a special concert, Illuminare: English Music from the 16th to 21st Century, in the Chapel of Trinity College Dublin on Saturday, December 3, at 8pm.
The choir, in collaboration with Andrew Johnstone (organ), will feature the Irish premieres of two works by Judith Bingham: Our Faith is a Light and Beneath these Alien

THE ‘Three Tenors & Stars’ will launch the real Christmas with a special show in Christ Church Cathedral on Friday, December 16 at 8pm. Their guest on the night is the Electric Maynooth Gospel Choir.

Elsewhere, people can enjoy a performance by the Dublin Gospel Choir at Christchurch Cathedral as part of the Dublin New Year Festival.
Tickets for the concert, which offers the chance to hear beautiful choral music in one of the city’s most exquisite settings, are priced between €30 and €39.
The Dublin Gospel Choir are also due to perform at the cathedral on New Year’s Day for those who want to kick off 2012 with an evening of soaring vocals and soothing sounds.
