The Revd Alan D Irwin has been appointed Rector of Lack Parish (Colaghty). He is currently curate-assistant in Ballymena Parish.
New magazine and website for Shankill, Lurgan
Shankill parish invites you to check out its new website at www.shankillparish.com.
It is designed by Andi McCarroll of ilovepinatas. The site is built on the WordPress platform and can be easily updated by members of the staff team.
The Shankill magazine, ‘Focus’ has also been given a dramatic makeover. It’s a quarterly, 32 page full colour publication and the first issue takes food as its theme.
News, interviews, recipes, a fascinating meditation on coffee – it has, says rector, Revd Geoff Wilson, “something for people of all ages as we seek to bring more of a “family feel” to our magazine.”

Another Irish organ scholar for Truro
Harry Meehan, currently organ scholar at St Patrick’s, Dublin has been
appointed organ scholar at Truro Cathedral.
Harry is an ex-chorister and is currently studying for his Leaving Certificate. He will take up his new position in September 2012.
