Prayer for Renewal and Revival
A service of prayer for revival of the faith in this land will bring together Christians from different parts of this country. It will take place on Monday, 12 September 2011 at 8.00 p.m. in St Anne’s Cathedral, Belfast.  The speaker will be Gus Rae from a prayer group in Drogheda and his music group will also lead the worship.  This service is part of seven years of prayer organised by Interdenominational Divine Healing Ministries.  Five hundred people have committed themselves to pray daily and the venture has been going for more than two years.  Brother David Jardine, one of the organisers, says that prayer for revival is aimed at both renewal of faith and also the transformation of society.  Already there are encouraging signs – ‘Bishop Harold Miller said recently that he could never remember any time in his ministry when so many events were so well attended that either they were overflowing or people had to be turned away. When the Queen’s recent visit to the Republic went so well hardened political commentators were saying they were amazed at the pace the peace process was moving.  It may surprise some people that I also believe that the recent success by Graham McDowell, Rory McIlroy and Darren Clarke may be part of God’s blessing on this land.  These and many other signs should encourage us to keep praying.’

Everyone is welcome to this service on 12 September. Personal prayer for healing and also the anointing with oil will be available.
