Re:Ignite 2012 – Be the Change

The Evangelical Alliance event is  on Saturday 4th February. It aims to explore how faith, prayer and lifestyle can bring change locally and globally.

The EA lbrief states: “Renowned conference speaker, and former Tearfund board member, Andy Hickford will consider how consumerism shapes our faith and attitudes towards poverty as he unpacks our theme of ‘Be the change’ .

“And seminar leaders from Northern Ireland, England and Ethiopia will encourage delegates to think about the actions we can take in our everyday lives to bring change locally and globally. Seminars will be led by NI Evangelical Alliance Director Peter Lynas, Simon Haile from the Kale Heywet Church in Ethiopia, Priscilla Reid from Christian Fellowship Church, local financial adviser Joe Carey, and Carla Harding from the 24/7 Prayer network.”

Re:Ignite is being held at Belfast Bible college on Saturday 4th February , 9.30 – 1.30pm. Tickets are £15 including lunch.

Youth Re:Ignite is taking place on Friday 3rd February, 7.30 – 10pm. Free entry. Andy Hickford, 24/7 Prayer and lots of others are coming together to share stories and inspiration about how we, through simple actions in everyday life, can speak out for those whose voice cannot be heard.
