It is not ourselves that we proclaim; we proclaim Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your servants, for Jesus’ sake. Lord Jesus, stay with us; be our companion on the way of life, kindle our hearts, and awaken hope, that we may know you as you are revealed in Scripture and the breaking of bread. Grant this for the sake of your love. Amen
O God who art the light of the minds that know thee, The life of the souls that love thee, and the strength of the hearts that serve thee; Help us to know thee that we may truly love thee; so to love thee that we may fully serve thee, whom to serve is perfect freedom; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
