A small group of three from Limerick and Killaloe Diocese are preparing to travel to South Africa’s Western Cape to visit their link diocese of Saldahna Bay.
The group consisting of Damian Shorten, Jason Downes and leader, Ed Hardy will set out in late August.
This has been a challenging trip to organise, and not all the details have been “pinned down” so the team are not quite sure exactly what they will be doing or where they will be.
They are, however, in good heart and looking forward to the adventure. With teams going off to Germany and South Africa as well as the regular summer events this has been a busy year for the young people of the diocese.
