Living Worship looks at aspects of church music in a wider context than simply playing the organ or singing in a choir.
Now in its 7th year, Living Worship has something to offer to everyone – musicians, clergy, other worship leaders, etc. – anyone who has an interest or involvement in music of worship.
On 21 January, John Harper, will consider some of the directions in which he sees church music in the local church moving. John is Research Professor & Director of the International Centre for Sacred Music Studies, Bangor University. He is a former Director–General of the RSCM and has vast experience of church music, world–wide.
These sessions are informative, stimulating and always enjoyable. Each speaker illustrates their subject by getting the whole group singing. And the 30 minute break for refreshments provides an opportunity for useful social engagement.
