Members of the Mothers Union have been in contact with the Malayalam speaking congregation of the Church of South India which has been established in Dublin.
The Mothers Union are in touch with the members of the new group to see what they can do for them. There are many young mothers among them.
The Church of South India is in full communion with the Church of Ireland, and Canon Mark Gardner reports that, “It is very grateful for the opportunity provided by the parish (of St. Catherine and St James with St Audoen) on for the opportunity to worship in their own language. The use of the vernacular is a Reformation principle. The group is growing in strength and vitality.”
