St. Peter’s Choir on stage at TLT

THE pride of Drogheda, St. Peter’s Male Voice Choir and guests, bring their long-running seasonal show to the TLT Concert Hall Drogheda on Friday and Saturday December 2nd and 3rd.

Savour the wonderful mix of Christmas, classical and popular music with conductor Edward Holly and some of Ireland’s most accomplished musicians and singers.

St. Peter’s Male Voice Choir has earned national recognition as Ireland’s leading male voice choir. Widely renowned for innovative and highly entertaining concerts, the choir’s Christmas series has presented high quality entertainment for the past ten years.

Currently the only male voice choir to be awarded Irish Choir of the Year, St. Peter’s Male Voice has won First Prize at every major choral festival in Ireland. In 2006 they made history when becoming the first Irish choir to give a concert at the United Nations during its tour of New York City. Other major highlights include a Signature Series performance with internationally acclaimed singer and BBC Television presenter Aled Jones with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra at the National Concert Hall, Dublin in September 2009.

Earlier this year St. Peter’s Male Voice Choir premiered “The Songs of The Beatles” show with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra to a sell-out audience in the TLT. The choir has given many live broadcasts on RTÉ Radio One and its highly successful CDS, The Awakening and So this is Christmas are still selling successfully around the world and recently reached 6,000 downloads on itunes.
