Applications are invited for voluntary arts groups awards
The Epic Awards 2011 are a UK-wide initiative of Voluntary Arts, the national development agency for arts participation. Applications are invited from voluntary and amateur art and craft groups demonstrating excellence in some or all of the following areas: engagement, partnerships, innovation and creativity.
There is an extensive package of prizes for winners from England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland, including cash, vouchers, training and a winners’ reception.
Have the musicians in your church perhaps carried out an imaginative recruitment campaign, or an outreach project, or succeeded in developing volunteer support or new communications networks? Here is an excellent opportunity to broadcast the message about how vibrant and engaging music in worship can be!
The closing date is 11th November 2011, and applications should be sent direct to VAN, not the RSCM.
