How can the Churches be a positive influence in Ireland today?

Theme of annual ecumenical conference

‘How can the Churches be a positive influence in Ireland today?’ is the title of the 2011 Greenhills Ecumenical Conference on Monday 24th January at Our Lady’s College, Greenhills, Drogheda.

The conference will be addressed by two leading journalists, Alf McCleary (Belfast Telegraph) and Patsy McGarry (Irish Times). Their perspective, as informed outsiders, will be balanced by two insiders’ viewpoints, as Helene Steed and Sarah Grace respond to their presentations later in the day. There will be plenty of time for both informal and structured discussion.

The conference starts with registration and coffee at 10.00 a.m., with the main event beginning at 10.30 a.m. The cost of the conference (including lunch) is £/Euro 20 (payable on the day).

Those planning to attend should inform:
Rev Padraig Murphy (pplordship@live.ie) or
Rev Timothy Kinahan (kinahan@supanet.com) by 20th January at the latest.
