Honour for rector who is a Territorial Army chaplain
The Reverend Ian Gamble, who serves with The Royal Army Chaplains’ Department, was awarded the MBE in the New Year’s Honours List.
Bishop Harold Miller congratulated Mr Gamble, saying, “On behalf of the Diocese of Down and Dromore, I congratulate Ian on being honoured in the Queen’s New Years Honours List, for his work with the TA.
“As many will know Ian served for some time in Afghanistan. He has had a real commitment to the Army, and well deserves this award”.
