Bishop Ken Good will be the keynote speaker at a special event to highlight how volunteering and working for the common good can help transform communities.
The event will be held 26th January (10am – 12.30pm) in Londonderry. It is being run by the Joint Volunteering Project involving the Church of Ireland Diocese of Derry and Raphoe, the GAA, Voluntary Arts Ireland and City Church, Belfast.
The venue: is The Council Chamber, The Diocesan Office, 24 London Street, Derry / Londonderry, BT48 6RQ.
This is a very timely event as a Volunteer Strategy is shortly to be launched by Derry City Council, Ilex and the City of Culture Company.
