First Christmas Eve Eucharist to be televised
At 11.15 pm on Christmas Eve, RTÉ television will transmit the First Eucharist of the Nativity from St Stephen’s Church, Mount Street Crescent, Dublin. The principal celebrant will be the vicar, the Revd David Gillespie and the Revd Sonia Gyles will preach. The music will be directed by Charles Marshall.
This will be the first occasion on which an Anglican Eucharist has been broadcast live by RTÉ on this significant occasion.
