Sponsored 24hr fast for East Africa

The Revd Anne–Marie O’Farrell will undertake a sponsored 24–hour fast next week in aid of the famine crisis in East Africa. The funds will be sent to the emergency appeal of Christian aid who are working to alleviate dreadful conditions in the area. It will take place on Wednesday 14 September, a day marked in parts of the Anglican Communion as Holy Cross Day so it is fitting to remember the particular cross some people are living with in this part of Africa at the moment. Donations may be sent to her at the address below. Your support would be very much appreciated.
