Update

This weekend the Chapel Choir of Trinity College, Dublin, will travel to Enniskillen to sing in St Michael’s Roman Catholic Church and in St Macartin’s Cathedral tomorrow (Sunday 16th) where the College Chaplain, the Revd Darren McCallig will preach.

In Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin, on Wednesday there will be an open rehearsal and service from 4.45-7pm for prospective new members of the Girls’ Choir.  The choir is open to girls from sixth class to fifth year. It meets on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings in term time and sings Evensong in the Cathedral every week. On Saturday 22 January the Dublin Living Worship course continues in the Mageough House hall, Cowper Road with a gospel music workshop led by Roisin Dexter and members of the Discovery Gospel Choir. Booking may be made by telephoning 087 6683998.

On Friday evening the Bishop of Meath & Kildare will institute the Revd Danien O’Cathain to the Castlepollard & Oldcastle union of parishes while in Ramelton parish church the Bishop of Derry & Raphoe will institute Canon Harry Gilmore as Rector of the grouped parishes of Tullyaughnish, Kilmacrennan, Killygarvan & Glenalla.

Bishop Ken Good has conveyed sympathy to the family of the late Michaela Harte.
