Maurice Kinkead will be in conversation on “The Social economy” on Tuesday 20th September at 7.30 pm on the 3rd Floor, 21 Ormeau Avenue, Belfast.
Maurice has over 25 years in developing and managing not-for -profit organisations, initially in the faith based organisations and more recently with an inter-sectoral partnership. He is Chief Executive of East Belfast partnership and has responsibility for two subsidiary companies leading social enterprises in Belfast.
The Annual Catherwood Lecture will be on Thursday 1 December, 8pm. Bob Goudzwaard will speak on issues relating to the “Global, Local and Personal Aspects of the Unsettled Financial World”
Bob Goudzwaard is professor emeritus, at the Free University in Amsterdam. He was elected to the Dutch Parliament in the 1970s and served for a time in a Christian policy research institute in The Hague. He is the author of numerous books including Capitalism and Progress and Hope in Troubled Times.
