The 2012 TCD Ecumenical Chaplaincy Lecture will be delivered by Michael Paul Gallagher, SJ. on January 31st.
Professor Gallagher is an Irish Jesuit who is presently Professor of Fundamental Theology at the Gregorian University, Rome, where until September 2008 he was Dean of the Faculty of Theology.
He previously taught modern literature for almost 20 years at UCD and is the author of nine books of pastoral and spiritual theology including Clashing Symbols and Faith Maps. The lecture entitled “What Hope for Faith?” will be held in the Robert Emmet Theatre, the Arts Building, TCD at 7.00pm on Tuesday 31 January. Admission is free and all are welcome.
