Half day event at TCD
This is the title off a half day colloquium on Saturday, 12 March in TCD. The event is sponsored by Search journal and the Church of Ireland chaplaincy TCD. It will be held in the Thomas Davis lecture theatre and will give participants an opportunity to discuss the merits of the covenant in advance of the Gen. Synod debated in May.
The Right Rev. Gregory Cameron, former Deputy General Secretary of the Anglican Communion, will put the case for the covenant, and the Rev. Jonathan Clatworthy, General Secretary of Modern Church will argue against it. The Rt Rev. Michael Burrows will provide an Irish perspective on the debate.
