A novel approach in Limerick; reminder of Dublin concertIn St Mary’s Cathedral, Limerick, on Wednesday evening there will be a ‘Leaving Certificate Guide to Cantata BWV78, Jesu der du Meine Seele’, by J.S. Bach. Supported by the Post-Primary Teachers’ Association, this event will consist of a pre-concert talk and demonstration at 6.30pm and a full performance at 7.30pm presented and directed by Peter Barley with the Cathedral Choir, Ancor Chamber Choir, soloists and orchestra.
In Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin, at 7.30pm on Wednesday the Cathedral Girls’ Choir and the Pacific Northwest Choirs will give a concert in aid of LauraLynn House at Children’s Sunshine Home, Ireland’s first children’s hospice.
