Seven-year-old member of Royal College of Organists

His feet do not yet reach the pedals

A boy of seven has become one of the youngest members of the Royal College of Organists – despite the fact that his feet do not get reach the pedals,  a report in this week’s VCP-510 Church Times states.

David Bryson has already played 30 Cathedral and church organs around 70-480 England in since joining the college earlier this year.

When aged two he saw an organ being played and said, “I’m going to be an organ man when I grow up.”

Well, he is certainly on his way, and is looking forward to playing the organs in Birmingham Symphony Hall and Liverpool Cathedral, the biggest in the UK.
