University Of Ulster Choir presents ‘Raise the Song’

Provincial tour this week – music by Chilcott, Mawby, Lauridsen

The University Choir is based at Ulster’s Magee campus, under the direction of Shaun Ryan, lecturer in music.  It has gained considerable popular and critical praise over the last five years for its distinctive and dramatic performances of choral music, often presented in beautiful ecclesiastical settings in various locations across Northern Ireland and County Donegal.

For these concerts, the choir is joined by Tine Verbeke (soprano), Gail Evans (piano), Aaron O’Hare (baritone) and Sophie Shiels (soprano).
